All you have to do is look around at the constant additions of new hospitals, clinics and walk in’s .. People are SICK and things are NOT getting any better.
We need to take care of our bodies, because – it’s the only place we have to live.
How Our Body Functions seems to Have Been Forgotten
Somewhere along the way we have misplaced or dismissed the fact that the human body is “natural.” Humans are classified as mammals. Like other mammals, humans have body hair, suckle their young, possess differentiated teeth, have a four-chambered heart, are warm-blooded, and give live birth rather than lay eggs. How the body functions is very much the same among all mammals.

The human body contains trillions of cells, 78 different organs, and thousands of miles of blood vessels. Every part of the body must work together to keep us alive. Each organ belongs to a body system. These body systems are interconnected, and they all depend upon one another to function. Your heart does not beat unless your brain and nervous system tell it to do so, your brain cannot function without a sufficient supply of blood pumping to it, and so on.
Each of our body systems relies on the others to work well. Working together, these systems maintain internal stability and balance, otherwise known as homeostasis. In turn, a disruption within one system generally has consequences for several additional body systems. Once we get back to this basic understanding, we can take a more realistic view of our health.
The conventional medical system likes to “part us out.” They prefer to separate everything and it seems they also have a different doctor (specialist) for every part. To make this worse, we have many in the Psychiatry world that seem to think the head is not attached to the body. Bluntly put – whatever part of the body your trying to treat, the treatment is not segregated to that part. The whole body is going to get the treatment, no matter if it’s a natural treatment or a Rx drug treatment.
Helping Our Immune System Keep Us Well
Amazingly enough there are a great number of people who do not understand that they play the #1 role in their own health. If we are not working to keep our immune system running at it’s optimal levels, then we are asking for health issues. And a lot of people are getting just what they are asking for.
The immune system has a heck of a job. It’s our first line of defense against bacteria, viruses, environmental toxins, and other harmful microorganisms that try to make their way into our bodies. Our diets make a huge difference in how our immune systems function; we are either helping it or contributing to its overload and sometimes to its failure.
There are many things that contribute to ill health and an overwhelmed immune system. Many environmental toxins are battled by our immune system every day. There are chemicals in nearly all of our cleaning products, hygiene products, food, and drink. The pollution we breathe, lack of sleep, and stress also contribute.
So where do we even start? We start with what we can control. There are a lot of things we can change, and we have more power than we may realize.
Changing what we eat will have the most impact and yield the most rewards of all the changes we can make in our lifestyles. It doesn’t have to be hard nor costly. Check out the recipes in the anti inflammatory ebook
The second thing we can do is supplement. No matter how well we eat we are not going to get all the nutrients we need.

There are lots of reasons why we should try to eat a diet consisting of real food over fake food. The biggest reason, of course, being that our bodies need the nutrition that comes from real food to function at its best. Without proper nutrition, our health declines with every day that passes.
All illness comes from the same root cause: a lack of the immune system’s ability to do its job. Somehow people have lost the understanding – that without the right nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, our immune systems simply cannot work properly. Our body is made perfectly, and it’s made to protect itself from illness and disease. However, we are in charge of providing our body with what it needs to do that job, and when we fail to give it the fuel it needs, then our immune systems fail to protect us.
Where Is “Health” on Your Priority List?
We can’t trade our body in for another one. We need to face the fact that we play the biggest role of all in our own health. Our own thoughts and actions have the greatest influence on our health. No one else is going to do it for us. We have to become our own best friend in this matter. We have to truly care about our bodies and minds.
I know it can be difficult to focus on ourselves when we have family members who refuse to go along with our new program. My advice is to keep going. Seeing your results may be just the motivation needed to encourage them to jump on board.
