The day first became associated with romantic love within the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the 14th century, when the tradition of courtly love flourished. In 18th-century England, it grew into an occasion in which couples expressed their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as “valentines”).
It’s kind of a special day around here as it’s my husbands birthday. One year we traveled over to White Sulphur Springs to spend the night in a little cabin and enjoy the hot springs pools. It is one of our favorite spots. I can’t reveal what I have cooked up for this year because he reads my blog.

I gifted several of the items included in the guide, at Christmas. Let me tell you, the pain relief products got a very welcomed response. I am still getting thank you from friends and family. And some of the beauty products are wonderful. One friend told me that she wished she could live with that Rose Mask on her face 24/7 … LOL.. and she is in love with the Rose Water spray as well.
